Revision Notes |
|
The sites featured in this section offer a variety of free revision
notes (I've deliberately excluded commercial sites on the basis
that, not to put too fine a point on it, they're invariably just a little
bit rubbish) mainly produced by students who, for whatever reason (love,
altruism, fame...) have decided to make the notes they used for their
A-level exams available to a wider audience. Such revision notes can be
useful for a range of reasons - to fill-in any areas you may have missed
during your course, to get some idea about the length and scope of
successful revision notes, to compare notes and the like. If you use these
notes you need to remember that they reflect the personality of those who
created them - and what might have worked successfully for them may not work
in quite the same way for you... |

| A wide range of Notes for both AS (Family, Culture, Education, Media...) and A2 (Politics and Power, Religion, Stratification...) are available to view online; these are clear, concise and occasionally contain links (to Wikipedia) that contain further information if you need it. There are also a few files that provide tips on things like "effective revision" and writing exam essays. | A range
of revision Notes are available here, covering both AS (Family and
Education) and A2 (|Power and Politics and Crime and Deviance) modules.
The Notes are extensive and can be downloaded in Word format (rather
than viewed online). Although the Notes themselves are extensive, some
modules are covered in greater depth than others - but overall a pretty
useful resource. If you're studying Psychology as well, the author has very kindly supplied a similar set of Notes... |
