Opinions can be
generally defined as ideas that may or may not be factual
or true. An opinion is simply a statement we make that we believe
to be true, regardless of whether or not we have any evidence
to support it.
For example, I may have the opinion that you are the most intelligent group of students I have ever taught, but the only way to confirm this opinion is to test it in some way (by examining you, for example - but not literally, I might add...).
