Integrating mechanisms 

The concept of social integration, in its most basic sense, involves the idea that people need to be made to feel wanted and valued by the social groups / societies to which they belong. In this respect, social groups (or institutions such as education, work and the like) have to develop ways ("mechanisms") for ensuring that people are fully integrated into the group.
