Related dimensions

In basic terms, this means that although we can, for the sake of clarity, make a distinction between these two "dimensions of society" the two are note, in reality, separate (or separable). That is, when we study the concept of society it is not possible to consider one dimension without the other. This follows because the way people think about their society (how it is organised, what it consists of in terms of boundaries, people and the like) will clearly affect how people behave in society.
