Lateral Thinking |
Encourage students to develop new ways of looking at the nature of the social world. |
|
Lateral Thinking puzzles are an interesting way of getting
students (individually or collectively) to think about problems and their
solutions.
More specifically, the puzzles in this section encourage students to question the assumptions they may initially hold about something (whether it be a puzzle or the nature of social realities...). By so doing students will Learn A Valuable Lesson about the way in which our initial preconceptions about something may seriously cloud our ability to understand it. (Or something like that...). |
