The basic format for the main Key Skills (AoN, IT and Comm) at Levels 1 - 3 involves students doing two things:

a. Producing a Portfolio of work in order to demonstrate your ability to do certain things (such as carry-out a discussion for Communication or search a web site for IT...).

b. Sitting an exam to demonstrate your knowledge and understanding of the various skills required.

For the wider Key Skills (WWO, IOL and PS) at Levels 1 - 3 there is no exam requirement - students simply have to complete a Portfolio of work to gain the relevant qualification…
