The information on this site has been cobbled-together (or, if you prefer, collected and collated) from a variety of sources (official and unofficial, original and non-original), mainly, it has to be said, to try to pull-together the disparate strands of the lumbering giant that is Key Skills.

This is not as easy as it sounds although, to be fair, there is a range of good, solid, material drifting around various web sites (awarding bodies, schools, colleges and so forth).

However, what's really needed (hem-hem) is a One-Stop-Shop site (such as this) to enable both students (unlikely) and their teachers (very likely) to find the materials they need to help plan, organise and deliver (successfully or otherwise) a variety of key skills at a variety of different levels.

With a bit of luck (and a following headwind) this site should perform this function...
