Sampling

Sampling

In the Research Methods reference was made to a classic example of a self-selected sample in the shape of "The Hite Report" (Shere Hite, 1976), an investigation into male and female sexuality in America which you can, if you wish, discover a little more about in this section.

Alternatively - or even additionally - if you want to supplement your reading on sampling concepts and techniques (and, let's be honest, who doesn't?) the following will help:

Sampling Workbook:
Includes additional Notes and a range of self-assessment questions.
Sampling Worksheet:
A short student worksheet involving a number of sample-related questions.
