Definitions and Distributions If you've looked at the material on wealth in the book (or even if you haven't), one problem we have with the concept is how to define it. We can, for example, add a couple of different definitions to those included in the book: Definitions are important - not just in terms of clarifying a concept but also in terms of enabling us to think about how wealth is both measured and, more-significantly here, distributed throughout our society. |
